(Why You Feel Like Four Different Women in One Month)
Ever had a week where you feel like you’ve got your life together…
followed by a week where your skin breaks out, your energy disappears, and someone asking “what’s for dinner?” feels like a personal attack?
You’re not broken.
You’re cyclical.
Understanding your cycle can honestly change the game — especially when it comes to exercise, energy, and even your skin.

Phase 1: Menstrual Phase
“Seriously… you want me to cook dinner?”
This is your period.
Your body is literally shedding its lining, and yet life just continues on like nothing’s happening. Rude.
How you feel:
Low energy
Crampy or heavy
Emotionally sensitive (or completely flat)
Zero tolerance for nonsense
Exercise:
Walking
Gentle stretching
Light movement (if you feel like it)
Or rest — yes, that’s allowed
This is not your “go hard” week. Your body is asking for less, not more.
Skin:
Can feel dry, dull, or sensitive
Breakouts from the previous phase may still be hanging around

Phase 2: Follicular Phase
“I’m back, baby!”
Period’s done… and suddenly you feel like a new woman.
Motivation comes back, energy lifts, and you start thinking things like “I should get my life together” and actually mean it.
How you feel:
More energised
Clear-headed
Motivated
Slightly more social
Exercise:
Great time to get back into routine
Increase intensity gradually
Try new workouts or push yourself a little more
Skin:
Starting to clear up
More balanced, more glow
This is your reset phase — use it.

Phase 3: Ovulation
Sasha Fierce has entered the chat
This is your peak.
Confidence, energy, and “I look good today” vibes are all working in your favour.
How you feel:
Confident
Social
Strong
A little bit magnetic
Exercise:
Strength training
HIIT
Group classes
Anything high energy
You’ll likely feel your strongest here — take advantage of it.
Skin:
Glowy
Clear
Effortlessly good
This is your main character moment.

Phase 4: Luteal Phase
“FML… why is everything so hard? I can’t deal.”
Here comes the shift.
This phase can feel like someone slowly turns the dial down on your energy… while turning up your hunger, emotions, and irritability.
How you feel:
More tired
Hungrier (especially carbs/sugar)
Less motivated
Easily overwhelmed or annoyed
Exercise:
Keep moving, but adjust expectations
Strength training over intense cardio
Walking, Pilates-style movement
Longer rest periods
Trying to push like you did in ovulation?
Yeah… it usually backfires.
Skin:
Breakouts creeping in
Oilier or more reactive
You start questioning every product you own

So What’s the Point?
Because when you understand this, you stop thinking:
“Why am I so inconsistent?”
“Why can’t I stay motivated?”
“Why is my skin playing up again?”
And you start realising:
👉 Your body is just in a different phase.
The Reality
You’re not lazy.
You’re not unmotivated.
You’re not “falling off track.”
You’re cyclical.
Some weeks are for pushing.
Some weeks are for pulling back.
And when you learn to work with that instead of against it…
Everything starts to feel a whole lot easier.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re constantly starting over, lacking consistency, or just not understanding your body…
Let’s actually look at what’s going on.
I work with women to:
understand their cycle
