When Everything Feels Like It’s Falling Apart

Lately, life has been… a lot.

If I’m being honest, I’ve had moments where I’ve wanted to scream into the void, throw my phone into the ocean, or just curl up and pretend I don’t exist for a little while.


Sound dramatic? Maybe.

But when you’re doing your best to stay afloat — studying, working, building a business, looking for work, trying to be “positive” — and then life throws in uncertainty about where you’re going to live…

Well, let’s just say “WTF” has been my internal soundtrack.


And yet — here I am. Still showing up. Still breathing. Still believing (even if only just) that this part of my story is leading somewhere better.



When Mindfulness Meets Reality

Mindfulness isn’t just pretty quotes on Instagram. It’s not always about meditating in silence or writing in a gratitude journal.

Sometimes mindfulness is:


  • Sitting with the pain instead of pretending it’s fine.

  • Noticing the thoughts without letting them define you.

  • Choosing not to react, even when your emotions are screaming.



For me, this week has been a reminder that mindfulness isn’t about fixing everything — it’s about being present with whatever is.


Even when it’s uncomfortable.

Even when it’s heartbreaking.

Even when you feel like a stranger in your own life.



🌱 What I’m Holding Onto This Week

When everything feels unstable, I anchor myself with three things:


  1. One mindful moment a day.


    Whether it’s taking three deep breaths, walking barefoot on the grass, or sipping my tea in silence — I find a moment to pause.

  2. Letting go of the things I can’t control.


    Like other people’s responses, timelines, or expectations. I gently release them and return to my own lane.

  3. Trusting that this season has a purpose.


    I don’t know exactly what it is yet — but I trust that the breakdowns are paving the way for a breakthrough. They always do.




💛 You’re Not Alone

If you’re feeling lost, stuck, or just done, I want you to know — I get it. I really do.

And I also want you to know that you’re not broken.

You’re not failing.

You’re just in the middle of something hard.


Please be gentle with yourself.

Drink your water.

Rest when you can.

Speak kindly to the version of you who’s trying her best.

Life doesn’t always look like the vision board.

Sometimes it looks like starting over — again.

But each time you rise, you rise wiser, softer, and stronger.
