Ever had one of those mornings where everything seemed perfect until it wasn’t? That was me last week. I decided to film a reel of my famous omelette, something I’ve perfected over countless breakfasts. I had all my ingredients prepped, my phone positioned just right, and I was ready to create some kitchen magic.
The beginning was flawless. The veggies were sizzling, the eggs were a beautiful golden yellow, and the cheese was melting to perfection. I was nailing it! But as soon as it came time for the grand flip, my omelette had other plans. It stuck to the pan, fell apart, and just didn’t play the game.
Usually, this omelette is my crowning glory—flipped without a hitch, perfectly intact. But of course, the one time I wanted to capture it on video, it decided to have a mind of its own. Sound familiar? It’s a lot like life. Whenever we start something new—whether it’s a diet, a fitness routine, or any new habit—there are bound to be bumps along the way. There will be days when things don’t go as planned, but that’s no reason not to start in the first place.

The key to getting healthier, both physically and mentally, isn’t about being perfect right away. It’s about making small improvements each day. It’s about showing up, even when the omelette of life doesn’t flip perfectly.
And speaking of showing up, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be holding a retreat this September dedicated to self-love and personal growth. It’s designed to help women embrace their imperfections, give themselves more self-love, and learn practical tools to integrate into their daily lives. We’ll have workshops, wellness activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect and support each other on this journey.

Remember, it’s not about being an expert right out of the gate. It’s about starting, learning, and growing. So, let’s embrace the imperfect omelettes, the sticky pans, and the messy moments. They’re all part of the beautiful process of becoming our best selves.
Join me on this journey, and let’s flip some omelettes together!
