The Stress Spiral Before the Event (Car Drama Meets Manifestation)

It was a few days before the event, and I was hoping—praying, really—that I’d get my car back in time. I didn’t want to be lugging props across the Gold Coast on public transport, navigating buses while trying to stay in “zen mode.”
The car was ready. All good. My plan? Pay with my credit card—easy.
Then came my mum’s offhand comment:
“Do you think they’ll take a credit card?”
I waved it off with confident energy—“Of course they will.” But deep down? The seed of doubt was planted. And it bloomed quickly.
I arrived at the mechanic, ready to settle up. And wouldn’t you know it?
No internet. No tap. My phone wouldn’t process the payment.
No physical card on me (because why would I bring that when I have my phone, right?).
Manual entry? Declined. Again. And again.
I could feel the frustration rising. That heat in my chest, the brain fog, the sudden overwhelm.
I was trying to stay calm, to smile and joke about it, but inside I was spiraling—I’ve got stuff to do, why is this happening now, why is everything always so hard?
We scrambled for a plan B. I was about to transfer funds and use a debit card when — in the middle of the mess — my phone rang.
It was Mum.
She told me her bank had flagged the transaction as suspicious and blocked it. She hadn’t seen the message until that moment. But now that she’d confirmed it was legitimate, we were able to process the payment manually.
All that stress. All that doubt. All that spiraling — over something that was already being handled… I just didn’t know it yet.

The Lesson?
Sometimes we’re too busy scrambling for a solution to realise one is already unfolding.
The universe was doing its thing. I just couldn’t see it through the noise of my own panic.
And isn’t that so often the case?
We hustle, overthink, micromanage every detail — when really, we need to act from trust, not fear.
We think we’re in control, but sometimes life’s Plan A is quietly happening while we’re stuck in Plan Z.

What Helped Me Navigate It All (in case you’re there too)
Let your vision be louder than your fear.
Fear doesn’t leave. It just gets quieter when purpose gets louder.
Say yes before you feel ready.
Growth happens after the leap, not before.
Pause before the panic.
Deep breath. One thing at a time. It’s never as bad as it feels in the moment.
Celebrate the messy middle.
The weird hiccups, the tech fails, the awkward firsts — that’s where the story lives.
Ask for help.
I’m so thankful for my family’s support right now. I don’t have everything figured out — but I’m moving forward.

A Note to You (Yes, You)
If you’ve been sitting on an idea, stuck in the what ifs — let me offer you another one:
What if it works out?
What if the thing you’re dreaming of is just waiting on you to take one small, imperfect, messy action?
And if you’re craving someone to walk beside you — who knows the fear, the doubt, and the deep desire to live a more aligned life — I’d love to support you.
